Airplane Illness

I was recently business traveling by airplane and was rudely reminded of one reason I hate to fly. People all around me were snorting, sneezing, coughing and making other annoying bodily sounds. People, take medication before getting on the plane to keep your cold symptoms at bay. I put my noise canceling headphones on to drown out the noises, but thoughts of what was coming out of their orifices right in to mine was nightmarish. I am a hospital nurse and am bombarded with monster germs all the time, but seem to be immune from getting sick. Stick me in a flying germ pool and I get sick. Next trip will require a hospital mask.

Territorial

I am a nurse and am proud of that, but I am not fond of a common personality trait that seems so common among us - territorial. I don't care who uses my little corner of the nurses station. It is funny to watch us scrambling for a spot in front of the computer. Use my pens, my post its - I don't care. Need to use the phone that is in my corner? Great, take it. But you get to talk to the next cranky doc that calls.

The Evolution of Hairless Men

I watched a lot of the Olympic swimming and diving and I've come to the conclusion that hairless men are sexy. It used to be the opposite and many would still argue that a "real" man has hair in manly places, like their face, chest, armpits, and crotch.

However, after watching all of these fine, muscled machines I think I really like the hairless men. As a society we have evolved enough to be able to still classify men as manly even if they are smooth as a baby's bottom.

So, I'm issuing a challenge to all you men out there. Shave it off. Shave it all off. Leave not a hair on your body, except for your head.

Nude Beaches

I've always wondered what it would be like to frolic on a nude beach. Would I find it liberating or would I be embarassed and try to cover up the "goods"? Truth be told I have never intentionally been on a nude beach. I have stumbled upon a few in my day and yes I let my eyes linger longer than they should at a few well-endowed parts.

People say if that is your thing then you don't really look at the other people as naked. They just are what they are. I find that hard to believe. I mean seriously. They're NAKED. Their parts might be blowing in the breeze, especially if they are my age.

I am wondering if any of you (if I have any readers yet) have been to a nude beach? Did you take your clothes off? How did you like it? Would you go back? C'mon don't be shy. Tell me for I am gypsy gal!

Meet the Gypsy Gal

I hope by the title of my blog I have not scared off too many of you. I love to read blogs. In fact, I may be addicted. So, Ithought I'd try my hand at writing one. I'm not sure what direction this blog will take, but I do promise that it will be like nothing else you read. I don't know if that is good or bad.

So, keep checking back and I'll update as often as I can.

May your wanderings be joyful.
